For the first time in our entire 35 years (almost 36) of existence, Jake and Jamie Wagman started a garden. Madeline and Becca have been digging out weeds and playing with worms. After I told Becca that plants grow better if you talk or sing to them, she got a lot of mileage out of that (It’s true you know: http://farmersalmanac.com/home-garden/2012/05/14/should-you-sing-to-your-garden/). Becca has been singing “Five Little Ducks Went Out to Play” with vigor.

Our garden has no rhyme or reason to it; our neighbors teased us for not making it more challenging for bunnies and ducks to swipe at the produce. But it’s fun, dude. Isn’t that the point?
